“The Midwest Effect” Study confirms cold weather makes you a nicer person.

Chicago IL – Scientists stationed at McMurdo research facility on southernmost tip of Antarctica recently confirmed that cold weather breaks your spirit and makes you nicer. This study concludes what most have suspected,  the change of the seasons gives inhabitants an exposure to a broader range of unpleasant  circumstances and often makes them more compassionate.

The opposite effect can be seen with inhabitants living in consistently warm and enjoyable geographic locations. California, for example often referred to as “The Land of Fruits and Nuts” is confirmed to hold a larger population segment considered “douchebags” by others. This research finally sheds light on the phenomenon of Midwestern hospitality.
